FACTORY OF IMPACTS Breaking Forth: The Making — Final Episode

The making of God is for impact. So we often think God is making us so that we can become some. From where we are coming from, and from what the society has fed us, when we say God is making man, the first thought we think is that God is making you from nothing to something?

No, absolutely no chance. That is not what He is doing. He is making us so that something divine things can happen through us.

Welcome to Seeding Your World podcast with Rowland Ekemezie, where we shine the light of God's Word on every question, causing you to live out God's purpose in your sphere of influence.

It's been an incredible moment, and this you will quickly realize is the ninth moment of the year, which is kind of fascinating to a lot of people. It's fast, and to a lot of people, it's very slow. Whatever divide you are in, it's special to acknowledge and really give God praise for the seasons of our life. One of the things the Bible calls the will of God is to give Him praise, so whenever you're giving thanks to God, you are doing the will of God. So if you're looking for what the will of God is, I think start with giving thanks.

So today I want to probably start with a few things that have happened over the past few years or over the past couple months.

This year we've been focusing mostly on breaking forth. You can call it breakthrough. People want to break forth. People are excited about the prophecy of breaking forth, and the Lord has given us a big mandate to really look through Scripture, through the pages of the Bible, through character experiences, and analyze what it means to break forth as a Christian. And so we went through different episodes or different seasons where we talked about the cost of breaking forth, the transitions involved in breaking forth, and we have been talking about the making. And that has turned into a series that we've been discussing over the past three months, and hopefully today we will come to an end about that series for this season.

And so I'm trying and figuring, struggling. Honestly, I am trying, but also struggling to end the making series, especially knowing exactly what checkpoints God wants us to end it for whenever we come back.

But I also sense that next month we will transition into the blessing, which will run for three episodes, all things being equal. So you see, I'm trying to bring us into the next series, but I want you to not lose touch with today's key thoughts. So that means we are like people that have been brought to look on the riverbank, and then you're looking at the river, but you can also look around and see the mountains behind.

But I still think it's a great place to be planted, right?

At least the Bible said in Psalm 1 verse 3, that person is like a tree planted by streams of water or by the riverbank, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. So whatever they do, prospers. I think that is where we are planted today. To stay at that riverbank, look at the river, and then look at the surrounding mountains, and also the mountain behind that we left to come to the riverbank.

So without further ado, I want us to pray.

Father, thank you for today. Thank you for an amazing opportunity and for this journey that you have taken us through to come to a place where we realize the intentions of You for our lives, but more specifically, Your intentions through our lives. Father, we bless You because You bring understanding. You bring clarity. You bring remembrance of the things You have spoken to us over the past couple of months, and You prepare us today for the next couple of months that are ahead of us. Lord, may no one lose touch with the reality of the impact You're having through us or You're having in us today.

Blessed be Your holy name, precious Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

So I know there's been a lot of things that we have spoken, which is really difficult to assimilate in one sitting. And for me, I also honestly struggle with all of them, especially as I go back to listening to those messages. They appear too heavy for just these few minutes, but I think it's God's design for us to be able to take that and really allow Him to speak to us by His Spirit, by those lines of thoughts.

So, as a kind of summary for where we are and in preparation for where we're going for the next few months, in episode one of The Making, we talked about God's will to make us. We started with Genesis 12, and that has been the anchor scripture. God said to Abraham, "Get thee out of thy country, from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee." God was not simply saying to Abraham, move from one country to the other or move from one geographical location to another. God was beginning a process of making, and that has to cost obedience.

So, but in episode two, we talked about God's commitment to that. Now, one thing is to know that God wants to make a man, but is God committed?

We settle that issue through Scripture in episode two.

God said, "I will make thee."

The emphasis there is, "I will make thee a great nation." God is not saying, "Go and make yourself."

No.

You know, people say, "What I have built by my tears and my blood." No, that's different.

Here it's God that is the author, the orchestrator, the architect, and the chief builder.

God says, "I will," not "I shall."

Say, "I will make."

So God was committing to that purpose.

You see.

So we move from there.

Last month we talked about what is really all of this. Why is God making us? Why is it His will, and why is He committed to making us? These are all the questions we've been answering.

Why is God interested in making us? What is the deal? What is there for Him? And so we saw from the Scripture, from Romans 8:29. He said, "For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son."

So we saw that we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. God is not merely making us better. That's not what He's doing. He is making us become conformed to the image of His Son. It's not just making us better persons. No, He's making us to be conformed to the image of His Son.

God is making Christ in us.

So, with that foundation, why are we here today? What is the focus for us today?

The focus is also like a question.

What does God intend to happen through the person He has been making?

That is the question. What does God intend?

Like, we know His promise, we know His will, we know His commitment. But what does God want to? What does He intend to happen through the person He has been making?

In other words, what is the outcome that God wants to produce through us?

So, and if that question resonates with you, and you've been thinking through these episodes, if that question resonates with you, I just want you to relax and just let's trust it.

So, God's making, let us think. God's making does not terminate in the person He makes.

And I want to say it again and again.

Probably it gets it.

God's making does not end in the person He makes. In other words, the person He makes is just a channel for His purpose.

When it came to having different cups in the morning, it's past those cups represent different things. You have the silver cups, the golden cups. Now, the cups are beautiful in itself, and the process it took to make those cups were a lot of work and it's expensive. However, it's not just about the expense or the gold that is made of. It's about what it is. At the end of the day, it's a cup, and that cup is designed for a purpose, and that's why it has a handle. At least it has a way of holding the cup.

For what purpose?

So that that cup will serve people who want to drink water, who want to drink wine, who want to drink juice. For whatever reason, that cup is there for a service, even though it's a golden cup. So you have to look beyond the aesthetics of the cup to the purpose that cup was shaped.

You seeing that?

So what God makes in you, He intends to work through you. Let me say it this way: that what God is making in us is because of what He intends to do through us, and so He cannot bypass us to do it, and so He has to shape us to be able to carry out what He wants to do.

And this is very important. So that brings us to the subtitle of today's episode.

You can call it "Impact Factory"

In other words, God is creating a factory of impact in the society when He starts making. So His making is to create a factory that reproduces impact. It's not just a factory that produces one impact. It's a factory that reproduces impact.

So there's a difference. So God's agenda, really, of all of this making that He is having with us is to create an impact factory.

Think about it. Whatever happens in the factory, think about it. That is what God intends to work through you.

So this is what it means in practice:

The making of God is for impact.

So we often think God is making us so that we can become something.

So that's the first thing I want us to talk today.

1. THE MAKING OF GOD IS FOR IMPACT

Now, from where we are coming from, and from what the society has fed us, when we say God is making man, the first thought we think is that God is making you from nothing to something.

No, absolutely no chance.

That is not what He is doing.

He is making us so that something can happen through us.

So He's not making us into something; He is making us so that something, divine things, can happen through us. So impact is essentially what God is looking at, and so that thing that God is going to do has to pass through a vessel. That vessel has to be shaped, so that that vessel doesn't contaminate the same thing that God wants to happen in this earth.

And so, for us not to contaminate with flesh, with worldly desires, different things, He has to shape us so that what goes into us comes out the other side pure, pure, without impurity. The same shape that God sees it through us.

So in Ephesians chapter two verse 10, He said, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had beforehand ordained that we should walk in them." So we are this workmanship, but workmanship has the purpose. That is the point I'm trying to bring across.

God works in us so that His work can become visible through us. God works in us so that His works, not your works, not my works, but so that His works will be visible through us.

So the question here is not, "What is God making me?"

That's what a lot of us.

So we pray and say, "God, make me."

Now that is good. But if you stay at that surface level of understanding of "God, make me," you will miss out what we're trying to say, and then you will mix up a lot of things.

So you're thinking about God making you, but it's all about selfish desires, it's all about the flesh. It's all about the societal influences over you, and you're saying, "Lord, make me so that I can become something."

That is not what He means. God is what God intends is to make is to make something happen through you.

So the question is: What is God intending to make happen through me?

So this is what I want to say to you. I want you to change your question from, "What is God making me?" Because that could be where you are right now from the previous episode, and you say, "What is God making me? Is God making me a banker? Is God making me a minister? Is God making me an influencer? Is God making me a president, a governor, a first lady?"

You know, whatever you want to call it, you may have gotten to that point, and that is a good milestone.

But let's change that question from: "What is God making me?"

to: "What is God intending to make happen through me?"

What is God intending to make happen through me?

Once you begin to ask that question, you switch on from yourself to what you begin to notice packets of what He wants to happen through you.

You begin to stop focusing on the channel and start looking at the source and start looking at the source and the resources that are supposed to pass through.

Right now, I think a lot of Christians are so focused on the channel itself, but they are not focusing on the resources that need to pass through the channel.

So that's the first point we want to talk to you: The impact that God wants to carry through us is the reason, is the intent of His making.

2. GOD'S BLESSING WAS NEVER MEANT TO STOP WITH YOU

God's blessing was never meant to stop with you.

Back to Genesis 12 verse two to three, He said, "I will bless you, and thou shalt be a blessing."

So see the flow.

I will bless you.

You shall be a blessing.

That's one.

Secondly, thirdly, "and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." So you can notice the divine transitions here. Don't say, "I will make you, and then I will bless you, and you will be a blessing."

So a lot of us can end where we think that God is making me so that He can bless me. God thinks I cannot handle a million dollars, so He's making me to give capacity to hold a million dollar. So you're thinking as a reservoir that takes in what God gives, you receive what God gives, and that's fantastic. You don't know where God is going.

He said, "I will bless you because I want you to be a blessing."

So if you don't look at the outcome, you can end on personal gains, and that's why the making doesn't move the way God wants it to move. That's why the making comes for frustration. That's why the making does not materialize into faith and trusting the Lord because it's all about, "I want to be blessed."

Here God said, "I will bless you." It's not a prayer point, and you will become a blessing.

And then the fourth thing He said, that He said others will be blessed through you.

So you become a representation of blessing, but then you begin to bless others. In other words, God saying, "I will pass through you and reproduce blessing on top of others. I will replay blessing on people."

Now that is the law of multiplication God is showing us here. God's work in Abraham for those 25 years, for those times that he has to pay the cost of leaving his family, his kindred, his history behind, the essence is to lead into multiplication. God's work in Abraham was connected to people who had not yet been born.

Are you seeing that?

So God could see nations in one man. God could see nations in one man. But you can be seeing just yourself. God sees nation, and that's why Israel is the name of a person. But Israel is also a nation.

Talk about the tribes in Israel. You know, the Ephraimites, the Judas, all of that. Those are names that materialize into nations, into kindreds, into people, into tongues.

So God's making in you may be preparing an impact you cannot yet see.

And so, if you have a prayer point from this point, it should be more: "What are You preparing me for? What are You preparing to happen through me? Help me see. Help me see."

Because if you can see it, it will be all about yourself. God's impact didn't stop with Abraham. Abraham was a channel for what God wants to do.

3. GOD MAKES US TO MULTIPLY WHAT HE PUTS IN US

The third point I want to talk with you today is that God makes us to multiply what He puts in us.

Now, in Second Timothy chapter two verse two, let's look at the apostle. He said to Timothy, his son.

Now you can say he produced Timothy, but look at the instruction to Timothy. Now he said, "The things that thou hast heard of me, commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

Now the way Paul produced Timothy is through words, is through words teaching, and he wasn't going about shouting and saying, "My son Timothy, you know, my son Timothy, I labored hard for Timothy. You know, Timothy is my son. Timothy is my reward. It's the evidence of my ministry."

No.

That would have been thinking that what God wants to do stops with you.

Just reproduce one.

No.

He said, "What you have heard from me, commit that without reservation, without stopping anything. Commit all of them to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also."

So this is a factory of impact.

I'm saying that is a factory of impact, impact that has no bounds, impact that has no limit, impact that keeps speaking when you are no longer there in the future.

This is what I call sustainable generational impact. It keeps speaking to the point that you may not be able to trace it again to the first generation.

So see the progression from Paul to Timothy, faithful men to others.

It just keeps going.

So the people Timothy trained were expected to transmit again.

In other words, there is no break, no stopping. What God is doing through you must not stop with you. It has to continue.

And if I had time, I would have shared with you how generational gaps have stopped the move of God across multiple episodes that we've seen, different revivals that have happened in the church and in the Christian world have stopped at different points because the people that started, or God started those revivals with, went out of the picture and it wasn't transmitted to other generations.

And so, when you're looking at this, you discover that the vision is bigger than what you are currently perceiving or thinking about.

I call it Impact Factory. I think that's what I believe the Spirit of God was putting in my heart.

He said, "It's an impact factory, the factory that keeps manufacturing impact."

So, let me say that again.

The goal is not for you to have something.

The goal of God's making is not for you to have something.

The goal is for what God has put in you to reproduce in others.

Reproduction, not production.

Reproduction.

And you will see why it is reproduction.

4. The fourth point here is that FRUITFULNESS PRODUCES MULTIPLICATION Fruitfulness produces multiplication.

Okay, let's not go into the English context, but God is saying much fruit. They are doing fruit cleaning, but they started doing that because of all this. The interesting thing about fruitfulness that we are talking about today is not just about one place; it's about multiplication.

So the fruit you produce...

Are you seeing that?

So God does not want our lives merely to produce something others can enjoy.

You know, for instance, you go to buildings, you go to the people in the orphanage, you go to countries where there's no water, and you drink oil. Those things are right. But in some, God is saying, He said, God is not just to produce something others can enjoy.

The life, Sister Judy, and Sister Julie is able to reproduce the same thing that I reproduce. Precious.

Grace is able to reproduce that. So the fruit we produce, Mary seed, is a fruit machine.

And then you teach on it. You are strengthening, then you strengthen on it. It's what Jesus said to people. When they are unstressing, you come out of this temple. Go strengthen it.

You disciple. You go this level on it. You receive. You don't eat. You release. You receive. You receive. You grow.

Then you reproduce in practice how it works. And that is the thinking like officials.

FRUITFULNESS PRODUCES MULTIPLICATION

5. The fifth thing I want to share with us today is that is how God, or why God takes time to make us.

Why God takes time to make us?

Why it takes time?

And by time I mean how we categorize time on this side of eternity. Think about, you know, God gave him a promise long before Ezekiel. Twenty-five years we can say, but more than 25.

If you look back, think about Joseph at 17. He's already having dreams.

Now he didn't just move from that dream. Think about what he was thinking when his brothers casted him into the dish, into the well.

Think about what he was thinking when the Amalek took him to Egypt.

He has a dream. That's normal.

Think about what happened when he was trying to behold unto the Lord and respect his master's wife. Think about the money landed him into trees.

He doesn't look like blessings. None of them looked like blessed, but when you look at his life, Joseph at the end, he looked at his brothers who caused all this harm to him because he had a dream. The envy that led him for the 13 years journey that made him a prime minister, he looked at his brothers.

He said, "You meant it for him, but God meant it for him."

For 13 years, there wasn't anything promising.

Anytime it looks like there is a success, like he's the head, he's the boss of the house.

Now, even though he's a servant, something drastic happens.

So my point is that the dream came long before the position.

The dream he had came long before the position, and that's why I believe in your dreams.

I believe that your visions are authentic. I believe that what God has said to you 20 years ago, 10 years ago, at the beginning of the year is real.

But it takes time to make us.

Now, there are lots of instances you can read through Scripture about this, but we just want to focus on Abraham.

And so, God is making the person who can carry the purpose. Now, He's not making person that He will give some; He's making person that can carry the purpose. So, and when God has finished, or when God has finished working something in us, He intends to work something through us.

Are you seeing that? So your focus has to lead yourself to what He's wanting to happen to us, because that will give you the direction God is taking your life to.

6. IMPACT IS NOT THE SAME AS VISIBILITY

The sixth I want to say today is that impact is not the same as visibility.

And this is very important, especially for us young folks, you know, who live in a digital world where there's lots of virtual and digital personas flying all around that we call influencers because of their popularity.

And I'll give you how that influences.

For instance, if you go to all of these social media platforms, and you see somebody that has a million followers, and they post something, there is a tendency for you to say that what they are saying is right, and you like them. If they make—how many people have liked this post? These things must be great, and then—my—like, right?

You comment on that. But if you see somebody who is probably five followers, and they say something, you're not really moved.

There is something happening in you which God wants to remove. You think that impact is the same thing as visibility.

What I realize, the world measures impact by numbers. Maybe the person has cars, and so why would you not listen to somebody that had cars as opposed to somebody that's in one of the remote villages?

They mustn't have wisdom. If they have wisdom, they shouldn't have had cars.

So the world measures impact by numbers, by platforms, by popularity, and by recognition.

But look at what Jesus says, Matthew 5:16.

He says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see good works and glorify your Father."

He said, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father."

The point here is: look at God, not look at me.

Everybody and all the marketing gimmicks is all about look at me, what I have achieved, what I can do, how smart I am, how brilliant I am.

The focus is about me, so that I can generate resources for myself.

It's all about me.

Me.

You do music.

See me, how I can sing.

Everything is about me.

But if you read this Bible, He said, when you shine the light before men, what are they supposed to see?

He said that they may see your good works and glorify your Father.

That part is where we don't get you.

So, in that sense, what you're doing is in with impact.

It's not about you.

It's about people looking at God.

So, biblical impact is not how many people know your name. It is how many people are affected by Christ because you yielded yourself to Him.

So you yielded yourself to Him, essentially, so that people are affected by Christ.

I want to start to conclude here.

Let's wind back to make sure that we carry it along. Genesis 12 begins with "I will make of thee."

God's make thee. Then God said, "I will bless thee."

God bless. Then the transitions. Those transitions and those points are important. God said, "Thou shalt be a blessing."

So God's purpose, through the person He has made, is that there will be a blessing, and so this is where God wants the making to end, to be a blessing. God wills to make you. God wills to make me. God is committed to making us. God is making us for His glory.

And what He makes in us, He intends to work through us.

Let me put it this way:

Don't let God's work in you end with you.

Or may I rephrase it this way, Do not think that what God is working in you is just so that it will end with you.

Maybe after 120 years, we bury you, and that's it. Now, God's investment in you is an investment in someone else, and your investment in someone else is an investment in another person.

So when somebody teaches you, you teach someone else, and you tell the person you're teaching to teach someone else. When you're strengthened by someone, you strengthen another person, and you encourage in Paul's world. You persuade the person to strengthen another person.

My point is, you are not the end of the line. You are actually the beginning of the line. And the next person is the beginning of another line.

The same line. The next person is the beginning of the same line. You are part of God's chain of multiplication. You are part of God's chain of multiplication.

Father, we thank You.

Say, "Father, thank You because I am part of God's chain for multiplication." Just can you utter that prayer maybe in 30 seconds in your hearts, when you're going to speak out wherever you are.

Say, "Father, thank You. I am part of God's chain for multiplication." Can we also pray together and say, "Lord, may I see what You're doing in me, and not just what You're doing for me. May I see what You're doing through me, or what You intend to do truly?"

For some of us, there's already things He's doing through you. For some of you, it's just an intent.

Can we pray and say, "Father, can I see? Let my eyes see. Let my heart be open. Let my heart adjust to what You're doing, or what You want to intend to do."

Thank You, precious Jesus. We bless Your holy name. I want to pray with you, brothers and sisters.

Father, thank You this time.

You have spent the last four months really reorienting us, positioning our mind, our heart, our thinking towards a prerequisite for the grand vision. That prerequisite is the making.

Lord, thank You that today You also showed us, drove us, drove us, drove us really through the pathways. That this is not supposed to end in us.

We are the beginning of the line. We are not the end of the line.

Thank You, Lord Jesus. Lord, I pray for visible, clearer understanding.

This is tough for me to teach. It's tough for me to also embrace. But why You're sharing it with us is because this is the time, this is the days, this is the season, this is the time You want to get hold of us.

You want us to trust You completely without reservation. You don't want us to become disobedient in this.

You want us to see the vision that we are part of the impact factor that God is creating, the chain of multiplication.

Now, please, that our eyes see it, that our heart embraces it, that our understanding is mixed with faith to trust Him, and not to trust in our understanding, but to trust Him.

Thank You, precious Jesus.

As I was preparing, I found somebody, or probably group of people, who are in a confused state.

Of course, all of us are always in confused state, thinking about what is next.

But specifically, I think God wants to bring answers to your hearts.

Answers about life. Answers about, "What am I doing with myself?"

Answers about, "Why is my life seeming spoiled?" God wants to bring answers, and I pray you receive it right now in the name of Jesus.

Receive answers to your questions in the name of Jesus. Thank You, precious Jesus. Thank You, precious Jesus.

I want to pray with you again and say, "Father, deepen our walk with You."

May we know You? Our world is full of confusions.

We see so many things happening. We are actually not sure.

Our relationship with the Lord is drifting. The Lord is saying, "I want you to know Me, because I want you to trust Me, because I want you to be that channel, to be part of this chain." Anybody who has removed themselves from the chain of God's multiplication, I'm praying that by the help of the Spirit, you're engrafted where you belong from today.

Restoration to the vision. Restoration to the promise.

Your path is crooked. Your part is not straight.

May it be made plain.

Let it be leveled up those valleys, so that you can see the set of Abraham as far as your eyes can see.

Now widen the range of our sight. Let us see beyond our current situation. Let us be emboldened to step in into what God is doing.

Thank You, precious Jesus. In Jesus' precious name, we pray.

Amen.

Next month, we kick off another series. We'll be exploring The Blessing.

Ask Jesus. Ask yourself:

What does it mean to be blessed by God?

What is the blessing?

Ask yourself:

Why does God bless?

And ask probably:

How does the blessed person become a blessing?

Prepare with that. God bless you for joining. And if you see how questions, especially for The Making series, please use Telegram to communicate there, and I will try to answer.

Thank you for joining.

I really appreciate you.
