Perception. Now, why this crucial is that our reality is mostly different from our perceptions.\n\nThe true reality of our destiny is different from what we generally perceive, and why is that? You get to get your perceptions to follow destiny, or to get your perceptions of life to follow your actual reality, in other words, your proper destiny. There needs to be intentional work in gaining knowledge, gaining understanding and wisdom. This is important.\n\nSo your reality could be here, and your perception is in the other point, now how do you get your perceptions to really convert to aptitude? It happens through gaining knowledge, gaining wisdom, gaining understanding. Now, let me give you one example of those perceptions. The example of those perceptions that as Christians is blessing and miracle. You know, now when you talk about blessing, the perception we have generally as Christians is miracles, and as we go through today, you will find out why that is the case, and that's why I said the way to fix perception is gaining knowledge, gaining wisdom, and gaining understanding. Amen. \n\nSo, theologically, there are different ways we can explain today's focus by doubling down on miracles, we will really double downs. And the way you can see it could be through the Hebrew thoughts, you know, the Jewish thoughts from the original Hebrew languages, you can view miracles from Jesus' supernatural act as a way of showing the authenticity of his identity that he is one with God.\nYou can also look at miracles from the spiritual blessing perspective. However, we do not have all the time today, and they are all mixed up all in the scripture. So today, I want us to maintain more position towards miracles and blessings from the original Hebrew context, precisely, and trust God for other episodes on how we will want to fit together, or want other things to fit together tomorrow. So the episode.\n\nSo the focus of today's episode on miracles and blessings. Amen. So I don't think I will overload us with Hebrew words, but they are very important if you want to study further about it. To look at the Hebrew words, the Greek words that was coined from blessing and and and to bless. I want to be as simple as possible without really undermining the complexity and nuances around blessing and miracles, so our experience has been driven, generally speaking, by a quest for supernatural manifestations of God. You know there is an innate quest in our heart to see the supernatural. You know, and that has led a lot of people into fasting for 100 days, 50 days, you know, 200 days. Even some people painting and giving testimony how they passed it and how they fainted, and all of that-it's really good.\n\nBut if you look at the the background of the story, everyone wants to see the supernatural, supernatural in quote manifestation of God, and that has led us even even even to attend the multiple programs, you know, Christian programs, you know, different ways kinds of prayer we pray, you know, and each time you want to have things like a banner, church banner or Christian banner program, and you see power pack program, you know power pack power pack crusade. It resonates with us because we want to see the supernatural manifestations of God. However, there is two things there. It brings frustrations without us realizing that these expectations for the supernatural are bringing frustrations, and it's not because of the supernatural.\n\nIt's not because of the desire that we have. It is because our perception of supernatural is in contradiction to the scripture, and then what ends up happening is that we end up in frustration. And just pay attention, please. So the question at your heart today, and we want to answer by the Spirit of God is two big questions.\n\nTwo big questions: What is or what are miracles, or what is miracles? You can extend that question to miracles, or miracles, or mere miracles. You can just extend that question. But what exactly is miracle?\nAnd then number two is what is blessing. If you can separate them and answer this question, your quest for supernatural, we gain the right perception to focus on reality from the scripture. Amen.\nSo to enable us follow this distinction about miracles and blessing, I will use what I call a comparative approach, you know, so that it looks more organized as opposed to me ranting about what what is the difference. So we're going to follow a comparative approach. But before we do, I want to give us one. definition to differentiate both? Just one-liner, you know, one one descriptive way of seeing miracles and blessing, and then we will use a comparative approach to break them down for proper understanding.\nRemember what I say: to fix your perception, you need to gain knowledge, you need to gain understanding, and you need to gain wisdom. Amen.\n\nDEFINING BLESSING AND MIRACLE\nSo, what exactly is blessing? In summary, you know, blessing is the is the dynamic transmission. Is the dynamic transmission of God's vital power, goodness, and favor into someone's life. Let me say that again because of you who are taking notes.\nIt's very important. Blessing is the from my reading of the scripture, is a dynamic transmission of God's vital power, goodness, and favor into someone's life. It is dynamic. It is a transmission or transfer of God's vital power, goodness, and favor into someone's life, resulting in fruitfulness number one, peace or prosperity and longevity.\nSo, this transmission of God's power and goodness and favor into someone's life will result in prudence, fruitfulness,\npeace, and longevity. Those three components are the result. So when you read the Bible, that the blessing of God maketh rich and adds no sorrow. That is what it's talking about. Release it. So there is a result of blessing. Amen. For miracle, miracle is a supernatural intervention. It's a supernatural intervention, and you can stop there.\n\nBut if you want me to extend it further, I will tell you that miracle is a supernatural intervention that suspends or overrides, or you can say supersedes the laws of nature to reveal God's\nglory. Amen. What did I say? Is a supernatural intervention that suspends or overrides or supersedes the law of nature to reveal God's glory. I seen that.\nThat is important to see the three things that it composes. The first thing is that it's an intervention by the sovereign. Number two is that it overlines\nthe existing status quo. Number three is that it happens not for you, not for someone else, but for God's glory. So those three components are the things that comes in to define what a miracle is. But if I step back a bit and talk about miracles, I want to tell a woman if you can see.\n\nIt's important you take them. So when we are deviously chasing and searching for miracles, you need to ask yourself the question: Are you get laws and things that you succeed? Am I supposed to follow a natural law and get the? So, without saying, I said we're going to take a more deep dive into a comparative view.\nLook at a have a comparative view of blessing and miracle, and like I said, I want it to be structured, so it doesn't look like I'm ranting.\n\nA COMPARATIVE VIEW: BLESSING AND MIRACLE\nSo I want to follow three all theological to illustrate how. The second term. is the other column is blessing. So you have that three columns, and so in that future column, I want you to write this because that's what we're going to go to. The first one is nature.\nThe second one is frequency. So we're looking at what is the nature of miracle. What is the nature of blessing? That's what we say.\nThe third row you can think about primary purpose. What is the primary purpose of miracle? What is the primary purpose of blessing? The number four is discipline.\nHow do you see miracles, and how do you see blessings? In other words, it's visible, right? So with those three iron out in your, you can visualize. I want you to see the secret of security. I want you to see. And one way to do it is actually to write. Please, I encourage you to write. It will help you to engage.\n\n1. NATURE\nSo let's go back to the first nature. What is the nature of miracle, and what is the nature of blessing? So let's go there. For miracle, the way you can see the nature of miracle is that it is a supernatural intervention.\nIt is a supernatural intervention. In other words, it distracts, or transcends, or supersedes natural laws. And pay attention. These natural laws, we call them natural communication, not because they were created.\n\nThey are natural because God has set them in motion to be considered. Steps. At those nights, you wake up, you sleep, you wake up, and then a lot of people don't understand what it means to have day and night. You sleep and wake\nup. Some people don't appreciate. We don't appreciate sunrise and sunset. So it becomes common for us. It's not supernatural in that sense.\n\nIt is natural because it is something that is supposed to be the normal occurrence of life, but it was created by the supernatural. I see that. So when we say natural laws, it doesn't mean that it's not engineered supernatural. Are you getting? However, a miracle is needed for what is called an intervention that will disrupt. Miracle is about disruption. That is the nature of miracle. Whenever miracle happens, it is to disrupt.\nAll right, in Joshua chapter 1012, to 1314, Please write it down because I'm not going to be able to read. I cannot remove it. Joshua 1012 to 14. As Joshua was fighting. He commanded that the sun stand still. That is what is called supernatural destruction. That is a miracle. That is what miracle is about.\nIt is an occurrence. The nature is an occurrence. of blessing?\nOkay, is divine people. So, blessing aligns with it enhances or works through natural order, so it aligns with natural order. It enhances that natural order and works through the natural order. So it does not disrupt anything, but it enhances what is possible naturally?\n\nNow, the example I can give you here is Deuteronomy 28 four to five. Deuteronomy 28 four to five. Now Moses said to them, \"If you obey the law, lest\nwe be the fruit of your womb. Crops. Less will be the livestock. So if you look at here, God is not destructing animals.\nHey, is not disrupting body. He's using the same natural means. That is the vibe. Are you seeing that?\nThat is the same. Close the door. The vibe here. I'll give you an instance.\n\nLet me give this a very example. I don't want to fill you with examples today, so that I don't lose focus on this comparative differentiation, this comparative way I want to go about it. For instance, if the only person you hear in your life, for the most part, is a minister of God who does ministry for time, and he gives you testimonies about how he woke up one day and somebody gave him a drink, how they gave him a part, how somebody gives gifts for your children. You will order it.\n\nYou know how they love this house rent, and somebody from nowhere came and gave their house rent. You will say, \"This is marvelous. This is what I want. However, Judah has a job. You have a job, and you're able to pay your house rent. In yourself. Doesn't feel that this is good enough miracle. Right? If this is not a miracle, of course it's not. It's a blessing. And so what you want to do is to shift from that blessing and say, \"Oh, this miracle is fantastic. That's what I want.\n\nSo you're choosing between somebody, for instance, giving you a car versus you going to a car dealer shop and buying the car with your money. Are you seeing that? The reason why it appears very much great to us is you do not see the divine favor that have sustained you probably through skill acquisition through the relationship you have built, building the right relationship and not the wrong relationship that enables you to get a job, a stable job, have the right health to stay in that job to be able to pay your house rent, you don't see the divine name, and what you want is that intervention where you lack everything, and somebody magically comes to your door, knocks at your door, and say, \"The Lord said you want to pay house rent, and they give you money to pay her. You see the reason.\nIt looks more dramatic. It looks more, more. It brings a lot of power. You know, it's a wonder. And so that's why, humanly speaking, we appreciate that more. And for that reason, our perception about where God wants us to be, it's not in line. He wants you to remain at the place of blessing. I will show you with the second point.\n\n2. FREQUENCY\nThe frequency. The second point we want to talk about is the frequency. What is the frequency of miracle, and what is the frequency of blessing? Miracle is rare and circumstantial. Miracle is rare and circumstantial. Now, so miracle is given for specific and pivotal moments in life, and here is a clear example from Scripture: Exodus 16:13 to 34. The children of Israel has simply has just left Egypt. They have passed through the Red Sea, got into the wilderness, and then started mongering because there's no food.\n\nThey want to go back and eat the cucumber and onions, and the Lord started providing them what we call manna. And for 40 years in wilderness, they were eating manna, the same food, the same source of food, you can shape it into whatever one you want for manna for 40 years. Now, fast forward to Joshua chapter five, verse 12. When they arrived Cana, the land of promise, it's not like they settle. It's not like they occupy entire territory. No, when they step their foot in where God has promised their destiny to be in, it's not like they had anything. They've not planted yet. The Bible says manna stones.\n\nThat is to say, that the manner, even though it was 40 years, was supposed to be specific, temporal circumstantial, and after that we never heard about God giving money to the children of Israel. So miracle is really really. rare and circumstantial. Very important for blessing. Blessing is continuous and ongoing.\nBlessing is woven into the daily reading of life and faith. Your daily bleeding. If you read Genesis chapter eight verse 12, after the mighty flood in the days of after the mighty flood, what happened is that God promised, and what was the promise? It was a covenant that after this flood, seed time and harvest time and winter they will never cease.\n\nSo this, what it means is that when you sow during the seed, the harvest time will surely come and you will harvest. It is boring. It is systematic. It is guaranteed.\nIt is a process. Blessing is continuous and ongoing, and that is why, if you're diligent, you will sit before Him. If you're diligent, you will be rewarded if you, if whatever your hand finds to do, and you do it with all your mind, you will experience harvest. I see that.\nSo the frequency of blessing is that it is continuous and ongoing. It doesn't stop this year. It just continues. So my question is: Do you want to live on what is circumstantial, or do you want to live on what is continuous and ongoing?\nBecause that perception will shape how you live your life and what you really value whether you are pursuing supernatural because you are looking for rare circumstantial moments, or you are looking for moment that is replicating itself in a continuous and ongoing way.\n\n3. PRIMARY PURPOSE\nThat leads me to the third point: the primary purpose of miracle. What is the primary purpose of miracle? The primary purpose of miracle is to serve as a sign. Now, if you read it from the Greek word, there's and the Hebrew word, there's a lot of word used to describe this, it is generally called.\nIt's either for wonder, but the word the scripture used to describe miracle as a sign is mophesh in Hebrew, which means extraordinary events that arrest human attention and points to God's immediate action. So if you read John chapter 1141 to 42, Jesus said, \"Thank you, God, because I know you hear me, and I'm doing this for these people that heard me. That your name will be glorified. He said to Lazarus, \"Rise, rise.\nIt is not about giving Lazarus. That moment, people think it's about giving Lazarus some more days. No, that Lazarus has nothing to lose by the day. He goes to heaven, to the paradise.\n\nThe essence of that miracle, that sign, is so that people will see who owns the absolute power. So the primary purpose of miracle is not even about you. It is to validate God's messenger. It is to command attention. It is to prove His absolute power. A lot of people think I want to get miracle for myself. No, it has nothing really to do with you. It has everything to point to God to validate the message, and that's why the Bible said that as they were preaching, that God was confirming their words with signs.\n\nFollowing, it's not about it, and so a lot of Christians have gone into grudges against God and say, \"God, through my head you have healed the sick. You have you have provided for people. You've delivered people. You've brought prosperity in the homes of people. But look at me; I am varied. Look at me; I don't have all of those things. No, it's not about you. He is violating what he has commanded you to do by signs.\n\nThat is the essence of miracles. Do we need miracles in our life individually? Yes, for sure. But that is not the desire that you will live in the teams.\nThe primary purpose of this miracle is to adopt is to collect nation and to produce. And so, what is the primary purpose of blessing? The primary purpose of blessing is to sustain and enrich. It is to sustain and enrich. It is to take it this way, to to lead to spiritual hopes. It is to bring peace. You see how spiritual blessing benefits the soul. It is what leads to maturity of character.\n\nIt is what is the basis for our secure relationship with God, but that doesn't dazzle an audience. Like it doesn't make an audience say why. Your relationship with God doesn't make an audience say why. It doesn't quickly speak to the dead to rise up.\nEverybody wants to see it on national TV, but your relationship with God that transmits peace, transmits maturity, that sustains you, that enriches your life, that develops your character-all of those things they don't wow the audience.\n\n4. VISIBILITY\nThe final thing that I want to talk about today in this comparative view between blessing and miracle is visibility. Visibility. Miracles are undeniable and shocking. They are undeniable and shocking. They command immediate fear from onlookers. See all. This is a lifetime of wisdom that is quiet and organic. You know, if you look back over decades, you will recognize that God's hand through faith. You will recognize God's hand through faith. It doesn't leave people that are looking at your life with immediate and terrifying power. You know, it doesn't look like maybe calm hurricane like Jesus came. It doesn't look that way, but that is what the blessing is. It is quiet. It is organic.\n\nTHE BLESSING IN EVERYDAY LIFE\nSo here is the bottom line: miracle is a sign of power that points to God and disrupts normal realities, but the blessing-if you read it from the Scripture-when God says, \"I will bless you, it means I will speak good words. That's what God is saying. I will speak divine favor over you. It yields fruitfulness.\nIt yields inner peace. So when you talk about miracle, it's always about sign. It's about wonder. It's about power.\nWhen you talk about bless, the blessing is about a gift. It's about bountiful gifts. It's about things that are not essentially terrifying. They are continuous.\nThey may look even so normal, but God enhances those normal processes, and it. life. So the word that was used to describe blessing from the Bible, Greek, it's from the Hebrew word is barak. It means a kind of kneeling down to present gift to someone, I see that's what God does with the blessing. So when God said to Abraham or Abraham, \"I will bless you, God is presenting a gift that will go on to become what will change our lives today.\nIt's a bountiful gift. It means I will speak well of you. That's the word that was used in in in Hebrews chapter one verse three. Eulogium, like if somebody dies, they will say we elusion of what they've done. Speaking well. That is it. So the question is, how do I think about blessing moving from here? Think about blessing as a continuous loving maintenance and enrichment of your life.\n\nIt is continuous. It's an enrichment of your life. It's not dramatic. Then think about miracle is God's dramatic emergency intervention when the normal boundaries of life must be broken to fulfill His divine will. You don't want to be in that situation where God is sending emergency intervention in your life. That's not what God wants us to live by. He wants us to live a continuous and an enriched life. That's why He said, \"I will bless you. You will be a blessing To the earth, all of us wants to be always in emergency care, and that's how we pursue the supernatural. And because of that, we abandon the blessing the Lord has called us in. We abandon it because we are seeking for something terrific. Now, blessing or bless blessing is tied to God's presence.\nIt is tied to covenant, and it is tied to your our human obedience. And the result could be material, like wealth, health, children, you know, or it could be spiritual, like peace, wisdom, salvation. Let me give you an instance. You don't, you don't say, \"I want to have a child\" if you don't have a spouse, or you don't have an opposite sense.\n\nThat if you want a child, you have to get married, you or you have to get intimate with someone, and then you have a child. That's a blessing. That's a blessing. But a lot of time we don't consider that. So God said, \"I will bless your womb. That is what it means. If somebody is not able to conceive through this process, the person needs a miracle, and that's why, if you look at Scripture, people who were barren when they give birth, it wasn't about ending the barrenness for those people. Those children end up becoming something different.\n\nThey begin to represent something beyond family. It is natural to have children, but if you have a child by miracle, it is not about you having children is about God proving Himself, and that's why that's why those children end up becoming different from other children. I seen that. So our blessing, wealth, wealth, not healing, health, children, wealth, not just riches, but wealth-all of those comes because of our covenantal love with the Lord, our relationship with Him, and so His blessing maketh rich in answer.\n\nSo, as we obey Him, as we follow His leadings, we walk in that blessing. All of those things happens to us in what you will say a natural way, because our life is enhanced, our life is enriched without disrupting the normal process. So I want you to live today thinking to yourself. Just think to yourself. This is a question I was asking myself, especially this morning. Am I over-indexing my life on miracles and ignoring the blessing of God in my daily, regular life? That could be the reason why I'm not grateful, because I'm looking for something, something ground shaking, and this is the thing that even happens to Christians, because every day the Holy Spirit is leading us by this still voice, but we don't like it. What we want to hear is a testimony that I was I was working as I was praying for 100 days. The Lord appeared to me in a white robe in my room, and He called my name, Rowland Rowland. Hear ye the word of the Lord, and I opened my eyes. It was a bright stain, and He spoke. So we're always looking for the spectacular, and we're missing the supernatural. So are you?\n\nAm I over-indexing my life for miracles and ignoring the blessing of God, His steel voice that is leading me, the blessing He has blessed me with steel, with health, to produce opportunities to have a home, to have a wife, to have a husband. Am I not? Am I ignoring that, and I'm looking at something that is so I'm taking a bit of time. There is too many frustrated persons looking for the next miracle program, looking for the next Miracle event for what the blessing that we have been called into can solve if we key into it. A lot of people have been pursuing healing from one healing to the other, and there there will always be healthy acts. But there is the blessing of health.\nThere is, there is the blessing of wealth, and there is the blessing, the miracle of provision. What do we want? It's as a result of the possession we have. A lot of people get disappointed with God, frustrated, and then they call church deception because probably our focus has been to present miracles.\nThat is circumstantial, and we don't move people towards the blessing that we are according to by our covenantal relationship with Christ. So, here is what I want to say: Can we get our perception to see our covenantal blessing and flow with it in our regular daily life, in our relationship with God, and in prompt obedience to His leader. I think that should be the response. I think that's the response the Lord wants us to have to flow to see our covenant purpose to flow with it in our regular daily life and in our relationship with God and in prompt obedience to His leading.\n\nRECALIBRATING OUR PERCEPTION\nI can have wealth to buy a car, and then I don't need somebody to bring the car in my house. It depends. I can live in health because by His stripes that I'm healed, or I can be running around seeking for another program that I'll get healing. It's about perception, and that perception, when it starts shifting to the reality that we have in Scripture, our lives will change. The things we call ordinary become the things we appreciate God for. My home becomes a thing to bless God for. My wife, my husband become a thing to bless God for. A good health, a job, skill, sound mind, they become a thing to be grateful for.\nI begin to look for that boring way of living that is consistent, continuous, because the Lord is speaking well of me in His blessing. The Lord is speaking mercy for me in His blessing. The Lord is speaking goodness, favor. Yes, thank you, precious Jesus.\n\nCLOSING PRAYER\nI want to pray, or maybe there's something you have in your heart you want to pray as a response. But Father, I thank you for my brothers and sisters. I thank you for this moment. I thank you for wanting to recalibrate our our perception to the true reality of what we have.\nWhen you say, \"I will bless you, you're not just talking about miracle. You're talking about something that is continuous. You're talking about something that is quiet and organic. You're talking about faith.\n\nIn the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, and Lord, that we all. Osama, your power, your authority in our world for people to know who you are. Not about for them to know us. No, it is for them to know you. Miracles is about you. Blessing is how we live. We have children. We have wealth.\nWe have peace. Thank you, precious Jesus. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.","publishedAt":"2026-10-08T20:12:01.203Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-26T15:14:23.814Z","recordings":[{"provider":"youtube","url":"https://youtu.be/xLJhw3i0q7Y?si=uyg_u9bjF5GqvqeQ"},{"provider":"spotify","url":"https://open.spotify.com/episode/4RlaTQLIBOFmsIIsh87s2s?si=3L1kbvNHThOrIm89MsfRRQ"}],"scriptures":["Genesis 12:1-3"],"topics":[{"name":"Breaking Forth: The Blessing","url":"https://seedingyourworld.org/topics/breaking-forth-the-blessing"}],"series":{"title":"Breaking Forth","url":"https://seedingyourworld.org/series/breaking-forth"},"cover":{"url":"https://seedingyourworld.org/api/media/file/SYW%20YOUTUBE%20THUMBNAIL%201%20(1)%20(8).png","alt":"SYW OCTOBER EDITION"}},{"slug":"breakingforth-the-end-goal-of-gods-making","url":"https://seedingyourworld.org/resources/breakingforth-the-end-goal-of-gods-making","title":"Breaking Forth: The Making - The End Goal of God's Making","kind":"teaching","summary":"This final episode on the Breaking Forth: The Making series dives deeper into God's bigger picture about the making of a beliver. So we often think God is making us so that we can become some. From where we are coming from, and from what the society has fed us, when we say God is making man, the first thought we think is that God is making you from nothing to something?\n\nNo, absolutely no chance. That is not what He is doing. He is making us so that something divine things can happen through us.\n\nWelcome to Seeding Your World podcast with Rowland Ekemezie, where we shine the light of God's Word on every question, causing you to live out God's purpose in your sphere of influence.\n\nIt's been an incredible moment, and this you will quickly realize is the ninth moment of the year, which is kind of fascinating to a lot of people. It's fast, and to a lot of people, it's very slow. Whatever divide you are in, it's special to acknowledge and really give God praise for the seasons of our life. One of the things the Bible calls the will of God is to give Him praise, so whenever you're giving thanks to God, you are doing the will of God. So if you're looking for what the will of God is, I think start with giving thanks.\n\nSo today I want to probably start with a few things that have happened over the past few years or over the past couple months.\n\nThis year we've been focusing mostly on breaking forth. You can call it breakthrough. People want to break forth. People are excited about the prophecy of breaking forth, and the Lord has given us a big mandate to really look through Scripture, through the pages of the Bible, through character experiences, and analyze what it means to break forth as a Christian. And so we went through different episodes or different seasons where we talked about the cost of breaking forth, the transitions involved in breaking forth, and we have been talking about the making. And that has turned into a series that we've been discussing over the past three months, and hopefully today we will come to an end about that series for this season.\n\nAnd so I'm trying and figuring, struggling. Honestly, I am trying, but also struggling to end the making series, especially knowing exactly what checkpoints God wants us to end it for whenever we come back.\n\nBut I also sense that next month we will transition into the blessing, which will run for three episodes, all things being equal. So you see, I'm trying to bring us into the next series, but I want you to not lose touch with today's key thoughts. So that means we are like people that have been brought to look on the riverbank, and then you're looking at the river, but you can also look around and see the mountains behind.\n\nBut I still think it's a great place to be planted, right?\n\nAt least the Bible said in Psalm 1 verse 3, that person is like a tree planted by streams of water or by the riverbank, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. So whatever they do, prospers. I think that is where we are planted today. To stay at that riverbank, look at the river, and then look at the surrounding mountains, and also the mountain behind that we left to come to the riverbank.\n\nSo without further ado, I want us to pray.\n\nFather, thank you for today. Thank you for an amazing opportunity and for this journey that you have taken us through to come to a place where we realize the intentions of You for our lives, but more specifically, Your intentions through our lives. Father, we bless You because You bring understanding. You bring clarity. You bring remembrance of the things You have spoken to us over the past couple of months, and You prepare us today for the next couple of months that are ahead of us. Lord, may no one lose touch with the reality of the impact You're having through us or You're having in us today.\n\nBlessed be Your holy name, precious Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.\n\nSo I know there's been a lot of things that we have spoken, which is really difficult to assimilate in one sitting. And for me, I also honestly struggle with all of them, especially as I go back to listening to those messages. They appear too heavy for just these few minutes, but I think it's God's design for us to be able to take that and really allow Him to speak to us by His Spirit, by those lines of thoughts.\n\nSo, as a kind of summary for where we are and in preparation for where we're going for the next few months, in episode one of The Making, we talked about God's will to make us. We started with Genesis 12, and that has been the anchor scripture. God said to Abraham, \"Get thee out of thy country, from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee.\" God was not simply saying to Abraham, move from one country to the other or move from one geographical location to another. God was beginning a process of making, and that has to cost obedience.\n\nSo, but in episode two, we talked about God's commitment to that. Now, one thing is to know that God wants to make a man, but is God committed? \n\nWe settle that issue through Scripture in episode two.\n\nGod said, \"I will make thee.\"\n\nThe emphasis there is, \"I will make thee a great nation.\" God is not saying, \"Go and make yourself.\"\n\nNo.\n\nYou know, people say, \"What I have built by my tears and my blood.\" No, that's different.\n\nHere it's God that is the author, the orchestrator, the architect, and the chief builder.\n\nGod says, \"I will,\" not \"I shall.\"\n\nSay, \"I will make.\"\n\nSo God was committing to that purpose.\n\nYou see.\n\nSo we move from there.\n\nLast month we talked about what is really all of this. Why is God making us? Why is it His will, and why is He committed to making us? These are all the questions we've been answering.\n\nWhy is God interested in making us? What is the deal? What is there for Him? And so we saw from the Scripture, from Romans 8:29. He said, \"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son.\"\n\nSo we saw that we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. God is not merely making us better. That's not what He's doing. He is making us become conformed to the image of His Son. It's not just making us better persons. No, He's making us to be conformed to the image of His Son.\n\nGod is making Christ in us.\n\nSo, with that foundation, why are we here today? What is the focus for us today?\n\nThe focus is also like a question.\n\nWhat does God intend to happen through the person He has been making?\n\nThat is the question. What does God intend?\n\nLike, we know His promise, we know His will, we know His commitment. But what does God want to? What does He intend to happen through the person He has been making?\n\nIn other words, what is the outcome that God wants to produce through us?\n\nSo, and if that question resonates with you, and you've been thinking through these episodes, if that question resonates with you, I just want you to relax and just let's trust it.\n\nSo, God's making, let us think. God's making does not terminate in the person He makes.\n\nAnd I want to say it again and again.\n\nProbably it gets it.\n\nGod's making does not end in the person He makes. In other words, the person He makes is just a channel for His purpose.\n\nWhen it came to having different cups in the morning, it's past those cups represent different things. You have the silver cups, the golden cups. Now, the cups are beautiful in itself, and the process it took to make those cups were a lot of work and it's expensive. However, it's not just about the expense or the gold that is made of. It's about what it is. At the end of the day, it's a cup, and that cup is designed for a purpose, and that's why it has a handle. At least it has a way of holding the cup.\n\nFor what purpose?\n\nSo that that cup will serve people who want to drink water, who want to drink wine, who want to drink juice. For whatever reason, that cup is there for a service, even though it's a golden cup. So you have to look beyond the aesthetics of the cup to the purpose that cup was shaped.\n\nYou seeing that?\n\nSo what God makes in you, He intends to work through you. Let me say it this way: that what God is making in us is because of what He intends to do through us, and so He cannot bypass us to do it, and so He has to shape us to be able to carry out what He wants to do.\n\nAnd this is very important. So that brings us to the subtitle of today's episode.\n\nYou can call it \"Impact Factory\"\n\nIn other words, God is creating a factory of impact in the society when He starts making. So His making is to create a factory that reproduces impact. It's not just a factory that produces one impact. It's a factory that reproduces impact.\n\nSo there's a difference. So God's agenda, really, of all of this making that He is having with us is to create an impact factory.\n\nThink about it. Whatever happens in the factory, think about it. That is what God intends to work through you.\n\nSo this is what it means in practice:\n\nThe making of God is for impact.\n\nSo we often think God is making us so that we can become something.\n\nSo that's the first thing I want us to talk today.\n\n1. THE MAKING OF GOD IS FOR IMPACT\n\nNow, from where we are coming from, and from what the society has fed us, when we say God is making man, the first thought we think is that God is making you from nothing to something.\n\nNo, absolutely no chance.\n\nThat is not what He is doing.\n\nHe is making us so that something can happen through us.\n\nSo He's not making us into something; He is making us so that something, divine things, can happen through us. So impact is essentially what God is looking at, and so that thing that God is going to do has to pass through a vessel. That vessel has to be shaped, so that that vessel doesn't contaminate the same thing that God wants to happen in this earth.\n\nAnd so, for us not to contaminate with flesh, with worldly desires, different things, He has to shape us so that what goes into us comes out the other side pure, pure, without impurity. The same shape that God sees it through us.\n\nSo in Ephesians chapter two verse 10, He said, \"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had beforehand ordained that we should walk in them.\" So we are this workmanship, but workmanship has the purpose. That is the point I'm trying to bring across.\n\nGod works in us so that His work can become visible through us. God works in us so that His works, not your works, not my works, but so that His works will be visible through us.\n\nSo the question here is not, \"What is God making me?\"\n\nThat's what a lot of us.\n\nSo we pray and say, \"God, make me.\"\n\nNow that is good. But if you stay at that surface level of understanding of \"God, make me,\" you will miss out what we're trying to say, and then you will mix up a lot of things.\n\nSo you're thinking about God making you, but it's all about selfish desires, it's all about the flesh. It's all about the societal influences over you, and you're saying, \"Lord, make me so that I can become something.\"\n\nThat is not what He means. God is what God intends is to make is to make something happen through you.\n\nSo the question is:\nWhat is God intending to make happen through me?\n\nSo this is what I want to say to you. I want you to change your question from, \"What is God making me?\" Because that could be where you are right now from the previous episode, and you say, \"What is God making me? Is God making me a banker? Is God making me a minister? Is God making me an influencer? Is God making me a president, a governor, a first lady?\"\n\nYou know, whatever you want to call it, you may have gotten to that point, and that is a good milestone.\n\nBut let's change that question from: \"What is God making me?\"\n\nto: \"What is God intending to make happen through me?\"\n\nWhat is God intending to make happen through me?\n\nOnce you begin to ask that question, you switch on from yourself to what you begin to notice packets of what He wants to happen through you.\n\nYou begin to stop focusing on the channel and start looking at the source and start looking at the source and the resources that are supposed to pass through.\n\nRight now, I think a lot of Christians are so focused on the channel itself, but they are not focusing on the resources that need to pass through the channel.\n\nSo that's the first point we want to talk to you: The impact that God wants to carry through us is the reason, is the intent of His making.\n\n2. GOD'S BLESSING WAS NEVER MEANT TO STOP WITH YOU\n\nGod's blessing was never meant to stop with you.\n\nBack to Genesis 12 verse two to three, He said, \"I will bless you, and thou shalt be a blessing.\"\n\nSo see the flow.\n\nI will bless you.\n\nYou shall be a blessing.\n\nThat's one.\n\nSecondly, thirdly, \"and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.\" So you can notice the divine transitions here. Don't say, \"I will make you, and then I will bless you, and you will be a blessing.\"\n\nSo a lot of us can end where we think that God is making me so that He can bless me. God thinks I cannot handle a million dollars, so He's making me to give capacity to hold a million dollar. So you're thinking as a reservoir that takes in what God gives, you receive what God gives, and that's fantastic. You don't know where God is going.\n\nHe said, \"I will bless you because I want you to be a blessing.\"\n\nSo if you don't look at the outcome, you can end on personal gains, and that's why the making doesn't move the way God wants it to move. That's why the making comes for frustration. That's why the making does not materialize into faith and trusting the Lord because it's all about, \"I want to be blessed.\"\n\nHere God said, \"I will bless you.\" It's not a prayer point, and you will become a blessing.\n\nAnd then the fourth thing He said, that He said others will be blessed through you.\n\nSo you become a representation of blessing, but then you begin to bless others. In other words, God saying, \"I will pass through you and reproduce blessing on top of others. I will replay blessing on people.\"\n\nNow that is the law of multiplication God is showing us here. God's work in Abraham for those 25 years, for those times that he has to pay the cost of leaving his family, his kindred, his history behind, the essence is to lead into multiplication. God's work in Abraham was connected to people who had not yet been born.\n\nAre you seeing that?\n\nSo God could see nations in one man. God could see nations in one man. But you can be seeing just yourself. God sees nation, and that's why Israel is the name of a person. But Israel is also a nation.\n\nTalk about the tribes in Israel. You know, the Ephraimites, the Judas, all of that. Those are names that materialize into nations, into kindreds, into people, into tongues.\n\nSo God's making in you may be preparing an impact you cannot yet see.\n\nAnd so, if you have a prayer point from this point, it should be more:\n\"What are You preparing me for? What are You preparing to happen through me? Help me see. Help me see.\"\n\nBecause if you can see it, it will be all about yourself. God's impact didn't stop with Abraham. Abraham was a channel for what God wants to do.\n\n3. GOD MAKES US TO MULTIPLY WHAT HE PUTS IN US\n\nThe third point I want to talk with you today is that God makes us to multiply what He puts in us.\n\nNow, in Second Timothy chapter two verse two, let's look at the apostle. He said to Timothy, his son.\n\nNow you can say he produced Timothy, but look at the instruction to Timothy. Now he said, \"The things that thou hast heard of me, commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.\"\n\nNow the way Paul produced Timothy is through words, is through words teaching, and he wasn't going about shouting and saying, \"My son Timothy, you know, my son Timothy, I labored hard for Timothy. You know, Timothy is my son. Timothy is my reward. It's the evidence of my ministry.\"\n\nNo.\n\nThat would have been thinking that what God wants to do stops with you.\n\nJust reproduce one.\n\nNo.\n\nHe said, \"What you have heard from me, commit that without reservation, without stopping anything. Commit all of them to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also.\"\n\nSo this is a factory of impact.\n\nI'm saying that is a factory of impact, impact that has no bounds, impact that has no limit, impact that keeps speaking when you are no longer there in the future.\n\nThis is what I call sustainable generational impact. It keeps speaking to the point that you may not be able to trace it again to the first generation.\n\nSo see the progression from Paul to Timothy, faithful men to others.\n\nIt just keeps going.\n\nSo the people Timothy trained were expected to transmit again.\n\nIn other words, there is no break, no stopping. What God is doing through you must not stop with you. It has to continue.\n\nAnd if I had time, I would have shared with you how generational gaps have stopped the move of God across multiple episodes that we've seen, different revivals that have happened in the church and in the Christian world have stopped at different points because the people that started, or God started those revivals with, went out of the picture and it wasn't transmitted to other generations.\n\nAnd so, when you're looking at this, you discover that the vision is bigger than what you are currently perceiving or thinking about.\n\nI call it Impact Factory. I think that's what I believe the Spirit of God was putting in my heart.\n\nHe said, \"It's an impact factory, the factory that keeps manufacturing impact.\"\n\nSo, let me say that again.\n\nThe goal is not for you to have something.\n\nThe goal of God's making is not for you to have something.\n\nThe goal is for what God has put in you to reproduce in others.\n\nReproduction, not production.\n\nReproduction.\n\nAnd you will see why it is reproduction.\n\n4. The fourth point here is that FRUITFULNESS PRODUCES MULTIPLICATION\nFruitfulness produces multiplication.\n\nOkay, let's not go into the English context, but God is saying much fruit. They are doing fruit cleaning, but they started doing that because of all this. The interesting thing about fruitfulness that we are talking about today is not just about one place; it's about multiplication.\n\nSo the fruit you produce...\n\nAre you seeing that?\n\nSo God does not want our lives merely to produce something others can enjoy.\n\nYou know, for instance, you go to buildings, you go to the people in the orphanage, you go to countries where there's no water, and you drink oil. Those things are right. But in some, God is saying, He said, God is not just to produce something others can enjoy.\n\nThe life, Sister Judy, and Sister Julie is able to reproduce the same thing that I reproduce. Precious.\n\nGrace is able to reproduce that. So the fruit we produce, Mary seed, is a fruit machine.\n\nAnd then you teach on it. You are strengthening, then you strengthen on it. It's what Jesus said to people. When they are unstressing, you come out of this temple. Go strengthen it.\n\nYou disciple. You go this level on it. You receive. You don't eat. You release. You receive. You receive. You grow.\n\nThen you reproduce in practice how it works. And that is the thinking like officials.\n\nFRUITFULNESS PRODUCES MULTIPLICATION\n\n5. The fifth thing I want to share with us today is that is how God, or why God takes time to make us.\n\nWhy God takes time to make us?\n\nWhy it takes time?\n\nAnd by time I mean how we categorize time on this side of eternity. Think about, you know, God gave him a promise long before Ezekiel. Twenty-five years we can say, but more than 25.\n\nIf you look back, think about Joseph at 17. He's already having dreams.\n\nNow he didn't just move from that dream. Think about what he was thinking when his brothers casted him into the dish, into the well.\n\nThink about what he was thinking when the Amalek took him to Egypt.\n\nHe has a dream. That's normal.\n\nThink about what happened when he was trying to behold unto the Lord and respect his master's wife. Think about the money landed him into trees.\n\nHe doesn't look like blessings. None of them looked like blessed, but when you look at his life, Joseph at the end, he looked at his brothers who caused all this harm to him because he had a dream. The envy that led him for the 13 years journey that made him a prime minister, he looked at his brothers.\n\nHe said, \"You meant it for him, but God meant it for him.\"\n\nFor 13 years, there wasn't anything promising.\n\nAnytime it looks like there is a success, like he's the head, he's the boss of the house.\n\nNow, even though he's a servant, something drastic happens.\n\nSo my point is that the dream came long before the position.\n\nThe dream he had came long before the position, and that's why I believe in your dreams.\n\nI believe that your visions are authentic. I believe that what God has said to you 20 years ago, 10 years ago, at the beginning of the year is real.\n\nBut it takes time to make us.\n\nNow, there are lots of instances you can read through Scripture about this, but we just want to focus on Abraham.\n\nAnd so, God is making the person who can carry the purpose. Now, He's not making person that He will give some; He's making person that can carry the purpose. So, and when God has finished, or when God has finished working something in us, He intends to work something through us.\n\nAre you seeing that? So your focus has to lead yourself to what He's wanting to happen to us, because that will give you the direction God is taking your life to.\n\n6. IMPACT IS NOT THE SAME AS VISIBILITY\n\nThe sixth I want to say today is that impact is not the same as visibility.\n\nAnd this is very important, especially for us young folks, you know, who live in a digital world where there's lots of virtual and digital personas flying all around that we call influencers because of their popularity.\n\nAnd I'll give you how that influences.\n\nFor instance, if you go to all of these social media platforms, and you see somebody that has a million followers, and they post something, there is a tendency for you to say that what they are saying is right, and you like them. If they make—how many people have liked this post? These things must be great, and then—my—like, right?\n\nYou comment on that. But if you see somebody who is probably five followers, and they say something, you're not really moved.\n\nThere is something happening in you which God wants to remove. You think that impact is the same thing as visibility.\n\nWhat I realize, the world measures impact by numbers. Maybe the person has cars, and so why would you not listen to somebody that had cars as opposed to somebody that's in one of the remote villages?\n\nThey mustn't have wisdom. If they have wisdom, they shouldn't have had cars.\n\nSo the world measures impact by numbers, by platforms, by popularity, and by recognition.\n\nBut look at what Jesus says, Matthew 5:16.\n\nHe says, \"Let your light so shine before men that they may see good works and glorify your Father.\"\n\nHe said, \"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father.\"\n\nThe point here is: look at God, not look at me.\n\nEverybody and all the marketing gimmicks is all about look at me, what I have achieved, what I can do, how smart I am, how brilliant I am.\n\nThe focus is about me, so that I can generate resources for myself.\n\nIt's all about me.\n\nMe.\n\nYou do music.\n\nSee me, how I can sing.\n\nEverything is about me.\n\nBut if you read this Bible, He said, when you shine the light before men, what are they supposed to see?\n\nHe said that they may see your good works and glorify your Father.\n\nThat part is where we don't get you.\n\nSo, in that sense, what you're doing is in with impact.\n\nIt's not about you.\n\nIt's about people looking at God.\n\nSo, biblical impact is not how many people know your name. It is how many people are affected by Christ because you yielded yourself to Him.\n\nSo you yielded yourself to Him, essentially, so that people are affected by Christ.\n\nI want to start to conclude here.\n\nLet's wind back to make sure that we carry it along. Genesis 12 begins with \"I will make of thee.\"\n\nGod's make thee. Then God said, \"I will bless thee.\"\n\nGod bless. Then the transitions. Those transitions and those points are important. God said, \"Thou shalt be a blessing.\"\n\nSo God's purpose, through the person He has made, is that there will be a blessing, and so this is where God wants the making to end, to be a blessing. God wills to make you. God wills to make me. God is committed to making us. God is making us for His glory.\n\nAnd what He makes in us, He intends to work through us.\n\nLet me put it this way:\n\nDon't let God's work in you end with you.\n\nOr may I rephrase it this way, Do not think that what God is working in you is just so that it will end with you.\n\nMaybe after 120 years, we bury you, and that's it. Now, God's investment in you is an investment in someone else, and your investment in someone else is an investment in another person.\n\nSo when somebody teaches you, you teach someone else, and you tell the person you're teaching to teach someone else. When you're strengthened by someone, you strengthen another person, and you encourage in Paul's world. You persuade the person to strengthen another person.\n\nMy point is, you are not the end of the line. You are actually the beginning of the line. And the next person is the beginning of another line.\n\nThe same line. The next person is the beginning of the same line. You are part of God's chain of multiplication. You are part of God's chain of multiplication.\n\nFather, we thank You.\n\nSay, \"Father, thank You because I am part of God's chain for multiplication.\" Just can you utter that prayer maybe in 30 seconds in your hearts, when you're going to speak out wherever you are.\n\nSay, \"Father, thank You. I am part of God's chain for multiplication.\" Can we also pray together and say, \"Lord, may I see what You're doing in me, and not just what You're doing for me. May I see what You're doing through me, or what You intend to do truly?\"\n\nFor some of us, there's already things He's doing through you. For some of you, it's just an intent.\n\nCan we pray and say, \"Father, can I see? Let my eyes see. Let my heart be open. Let my heart adjust to what You're doing, or what You want to intend to do.\"\n\nThank You, precious Jesus. We bless Your holy name. I want to pray with you, brothers and sisters.\n\nFather, thank You this time.\n\nYou have spent the last four months really reorienting us, positioning our mind, our heart, our thinking towards a prerequisite for the grand vision. That prerequisite is the making.\n\nLord, thank You that today You also showed us, drove us, drove us, drove us really through the pathways. That this is not supposed to end in us.\n\nWe are the beginning of the line. We are not the end of the line.\n\nThank You, Lord Jesus. Lord, I pray for visible, clearer understanding.\n\nThis is tough for me to teach. It's tough for me to also embrace. But why You're sharing it with us is because this is the time, this is the days, this is the season, this is the time You want to get hold of us.\n\nYou want us to trust You completely without reservation. You don't want us to become disobedient in this.\n\nYou want us to see the vision that we are part of the impact factor that God is creating, the chain of multiplication.\n\nNow, please, that our eyes see it, that our heart embraces it, that our understanding is mixed with faith to trust Him, and not to trust in our understanding, but to trust Him.\n\nThank You, precious Jesus.\n\nAs I was preparing, I found somebody, or probably group of people, who are in a confused state.\n\nOf course, all of us are always in confused state, thinking about what is next.\n\nBut specifically, I think God wants to bring answers to your hearts.\n\nAnswers about life. Answers about, \"What am I doing with myself?\"\n\nAnswers about, \"Why is my life seeming spoiled?\" God wants to bring answers, and I pray you receive it right now in the name of Jesus.\n\nReceive answers to your questions in the name of Jesus. Thank You, precious Jesus. Thank You, precious Jesus.\n\nI want to pray with you again and say, \"Father, deepen our walk with You.\"\n\nMay we know You? Our world is full of confusions.\n\nWe see so many things happening. We are actually not sure.\n\nOur relationship with the Lord is drifting. The Lord is saying, \"I want you to know Me, because I want you to trust Me, because I want you to be that channel, to be part of this chain.\" Anybody who has removed themselves from the chain of God's multiplication, I'm praying that by the help of the Spirit, you're engrafted where you belong from today.\n\nRestoration to the vision. Restoration to the promise.\n\nYour path is crooked. Your part is not straight.\n\nMay it be made plain.\n\nLet it be leveled up those valleys, so that you can see the set of Abraham as far as your eyes can see.\n\nNow widen the range of our sight. Let us see beyond our current situation. Let us be emboldened to step in into what God is doing.\n\nThank You, precious Jesus. In Jesus' precious name, we pray.\n\nAmen.\n\nNext month, we kick off another series. We'll be exploring The Blessing.\n\nAsk Jesus. Ask yourself:\n\nWhat does it mean to be blessed by God?\n\nWhat is the blessing?\n\nAsk yourself:\n\nWhy does God bless?\n\nAnd ask probably:\n\nHow does the blessed person become a blessing?\n\nPrepare with that. God bless you for joining.
